Workshop and Event Registration Information

Please read carefully.

Opening Day and Confirmations:

  • PTQG members: February 8 is the earliest postmark date. Registrations with an earlier postmark will not be processed until February 22.
  • Non-member registrations will be processed beginning February 22.
  • After February 22, registrations will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Please allow 30 days to receive your confirmation packet.
  • Registrations received after July 15 will NOT receive confirmations by mail. Packets must be picked up at the show.

Registration: (Be sure to complete each item; failure to do so will delay your registration.)

  • Use a separate form for each person. You may photocopy the form or download it. The workshop registration form is available on-line as a PDF . You can complete the form on-line but must print, sign and mail it.
    You will need the free software, Adobe Reader to open the form.
  • Please print or type carefully (or use a mailing label).
  • Indicate 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices or waiting list for workshops.
    • If your first choice is full, you will be enrolled in your second or third choice.
    • If you prefer to be on a waiting list for your first choice, indicate waiting list.
  • Your signature is required on the Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement. Your registration and attendance is agreement to the terms of this waiver.
  • Check your math.
  • All registrations must be made by mail with full payment, including the registration fee if required.
  • Include a stamped ($0.78 one or more classes; $0.61 registration fee but no classes; $0.44 events only) self-addressed business size envelope for confirmation materials.
  • Keep a copy of your completed form.

Registration Fee:

The non-refundable $15 registration fee is required when registering for any workshop; it may be purchased without workshops. It includes three-day show admission, a tote bag and one ticket to both the Champagne Reception . Show Preview and Sew What Night ($30 value). This fee is not required if you wish to purchase tickets for events and / or lectures only.

Workshop & Event Fees:

  • Lectures – $10
  • Half-Day Workshops – $35
  • Full-Day Workshops – $60
  • Children's Classes – $15
  • Champagne Reception / Show Preview – $10 if not pre-registered; free with registration
  • Friday Gala Dinner and Lecture – $26
  • Friday Gala Lecture only – $10

Payment:

Base your payment on 1st choice; if you aren’t placed in your 1st choice, Maine Quilts will make adjustments in fees and inform you of balance due or make refunds. Payment must be made with check or money order (in US dollars) payable to Maine Quilts. A $25 fee will apply to all checks that are returned by the bank for any reason.


Changes and Additions:

Workshop changes made after your initial registration will be charged a $5 processing fee. This charge does not apply to additions, which may be made at any time, subject to availability of space.

Refunds and Cancellation Policy:

To cancel a class, send a written request to Carol Leigh. Requests received by June 1 will receive a full refund less the $15 registration fee. No refunds will be made for cancellation requests received after June 1.

Maine Quilts reserves the right to cancel any workshop with insufficient enrollment as of June 15. We will notify anyone who has registered for a workshop that is cancelled and will refund the workshop fees. Please do not purchase supplies until after June 15.
