Quilting Classes for Children

Maine Quilts is again offering classes for children. These classes will be held on Sunday, August 1. An introductory class will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A class for children who have some quilting experience will be from 1-4 p.m. Space will be limited to ten students per class. The cost for each class is $15; there is no registration fee.
701 Introduction to Quilting
9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
This class is only for children ages 7-12 with no previous quilting experience. Learn the basics of quilting while creating a four-patch pillow. All fabric, supplies and tools will be provided. |
702 Laptop / Portfolio Cover
1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
This class is for children ages 10-14 who know how to use a sewing machine and have made at least one quilt. In this class, students will learn how to make French seams, mitered binding and how to machine quilt. All fabric, supplies and tools will be provided. |

- Please include the child’s age.
- The child’s parent or guardian, not the child, should sign the registration form.
