Appraisals, lectures, trunk shows, workshops, quilt repairs and restoration. Bonnie presents trunk shows and lectures about vintage quilts and quilt history, as well as workshops on quilt care and repair.

Program sampler:

  • An Overview of American Quilt History – 2-hours; a talk and trunk show of thirty 19th and 20th Century quilts
  • Help, my quilt has been damaged! Should I try to fix it? 2 hour lecture and demo.
  • Basic Quilt Repair – full day (6 hours) Part I – lecture, discussion & demo; Part II – Hands-on practice
  • How should I take care of my quilts? The basics of quilt care, display, and storage. 1 hour talk with demo

Workshops, basically for intermediate quiltmakers, but some that may be for confident beginner to advanced

  • Intuitively designed blocks using playful methods of instruction and based upon Dianne's book, Quilters PLAYTIME, Games for Quiltmakers.

    Machine appliqué either with silk-like ribbons or as a ScrollWork design.

    Curves created without templates in several designs from the same class.

    Curvy Doo-dads for more advanced students.
